Operation Christmas Child - January Collections

Beginning in the month of January, Northside will collect specific items each month to put in our shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. The items will be collected throughout the year and will be used to fill boxes this fall during a churchwide “Packing Party.”

About the event
This month, we are collecting hats, gloves and scarves. Collecting the items throughout the year helps stretch out the expense of packing a shoebox and often provides a way for more people to get involved in this ministry. It also helps keep the ministry of Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child in our prayers year-round (as shoeboxes often reach their final destinations at different times throughout the year).
